A 16 to 22 % active Diethylenetriamine pentamethylene phosphonic acid designed as a concentrate to formulate scale preventives for treatment of calcium and magnesium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and barium scales.
Used in the treatment of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium, and strontium sulfate scales. Helps to dissolve existing scales.
Used in concentrated form, diluted, or combined with cationic amines for multi-functional prevention products.
The concentration of SI- 320 to be used depends on the amount of scale buildup, desired dilution and downhole temperature. Typical treatment rates range from 2 ppm to 25 ppm.
